This all-silk handwoven rug, executed in an all-over design, embodies beauty, refinement, and meaning within its warp and weft. Measuring 100 × 150 cm (3'3" × 4'11") with an area of 1.5 m² (16.15 ft²), it is woven entirely from silk at a density of about 10,000 knots/dm², reflecting the artistry and precision of Qom’s master weavers. Created by the “Arablu” brand, the rug presents an all-over layout with boteh (paisley) motifs in a novel and contemplative arrangement. At its center appears a symbolic depiction of a mother-and-child boteh—an emblem in Persian tradition of life, birth, and continuity—surrounded by a multitude of boteh patterns, forming the vibrant heart of this imaginative garden. The brown ground provides depth and warmth, while the blue border introduces visual serenity and artistic balance to the color composition. Enhanced by the luminous silk weave, this harmony of tones makes the rug appear like a precious painting, offering a renewed charm from every light and angle.
