This handwoven Qom rug in a classic medallion-and-corner design measures 120 × 80 cm (3'11" × 2'7") and has an area of 0.96 m² (10.33 ft²). Under the “Taher Mohammadi” brand, woven in all-silk at 10,000 knots/dm², each knot reflects the precise skill of the weavers. Rooted in Iranian painting and illumination traditions, the medallion-and-corner scheme is masterfully reinterpreted here with floral motifs. Boteh (paisley) elements in the central medallion, in concert with the measured flow of blossoms and geometric symmetry, create a rug that carries both authenticity and a poetic delicacy.
