This all-silk handwoven rug with an all-over pictorial design measures 77 × 177 cm (2'6" × 5'10") and has an area of 1.37 m² (14.75 ft²). Under the “Mohammad Mirzaei” brand and woven by Qom artisans, its knot density is ≈ 10,000 knots/dm², making it an exceptional example of Iranian pictorial carpet art. The all-over composition attains a striking, emblematic presence with a beautiful peacock rendered at the center; its raised, multicolored plumage—blue, purple, navy, and pink—fills the middle field. Along the right border, two blue columns with classical ornament and floral embellishment appear, inspired by Iranian architecture. The surface is filled with coordinated floral motifs that cover the entire rug without empty gaps, harmonizing with the Iranian spirit and its affinity for nature and rhythmic repetition. Multicolored hues in the field and border give the rug a vivid, multidimensional character, and the interplay of colors within the silk warp and weft lets the piece display different facets under varying light—as though it reveals a new visage with each viewing.
