This all-silk handwoven Qom rug, woven at 10,000 knots/dm², measures 80 × 120 cm (2'8" × 3'11") with an area of 0.96 m² (10.33 ft²). Under the “Samanlou” brand in an all-over design, the rug is conceived as a landscape scene that transforms the entire field into an imaginative view of nature. Mountains, trees, a river, and birds—rendered with harmonious colors and soft lines—convey a sense of endless calm. A multicolored ground paired with a green border creates a vivid, cohesive composition. The green, evoking nature and life, works with silk’s natural luster to add a sense of light and movement. This piece is a striking convergence of Iranian carpet weaving and painting.
