This handwoven Qom rug in a medallion-and-corner design by the “Rahmani” workshop measures 100 × 147 cm (3'3" × 4'10") with an area of 1.47 m² (15.82 ft²). Its distinctive dark-blue field provides a tranquil setting for refined floral motifs. A perfectly symmetrical central medallion, embraced by four well-balanced spandrels, brings ordered harmony to the composition. Miniature-like blossoms, rendered in vivid hues and fine detail, are scattered across the surface as if a garden were blooming within the weave. Weaving density: 10,000 knots/dm². A deep navy border frames the piece with a pleasing contrast to the dark-blue ground. The use of silk in the weave imparts exceptional softness and sheen, elevating the rug to a collectible level.
