This handwoven Qom rug, measuring 100 × 150 cm (3'3" × 4'11") with an area of 1.5 m² (16.15 ft²), is crafted with remarkable fineness and a knot density of approximately 11,400 knots/dm². Made entirely of lustrous silk and produced under the “Taher Mohammadi” brand, the rug radiates brilliance, rendering every motif and color with vivid liveliness and graceful motion. The medallion-and-corner design is interpreted here with a distinctive approach: among the medallions and borders, soft and elegant birds appear alongside harmoniously arranged boteh (paisley) motifs. The tranquil turquoise ground evokes the essence of sky and water, while the multicolored border with its diverse palette adds a cheerful, vibrant, and dynamic quality to the rug. Birds, symbols of spirit and freedom, intertwine with boteh motifs, representing growth and life—transforming the rug into a realm of storytelling.
