This handwoven Qom rug measures 80 × 115 cm (2'7" × 3'9") and has an area of 0.92 m² (9.90 ft²). Under the “Shirazi” brand, with a knot density of ≈ 11,500 knots/dm², it presents a refined, artful approach in a medallion-and-corner design, the handiwork of skilled Qom weavers. The medallion-and-corner layout—rooted in classical Iranian aesthetics—comes to life with floral motifs arranged symmetrically, blossoming from the central medallion and extending toward the four corner spandrels. A lilac ground, a bold and pleasing choice, conveys delicacy, dignity, and freshness; this dreamlike field amplifies the natural sheen of silk, turning the rug into a vivid, luminous image.
