This all-silk handwoven Qom rug—an exceptional example of Qom weaving—features a fineness of ≈ 13,000 knots/dm². It measures 80 × 125 cm (2'7" × 4'1") with an area of 1 m² (10.76 ft²), and is produced under the “Baharestan Moharreri” brand. The medallion-and-corner design, with harmonized floral motifs, creates a scene of symmetry, graceful repetition, and visual calm—like a designed garden in which every blossom has its own place. Both field and border are rendered in blue tones, giving the piece a cohesive and soothing unity. The natural sheen of silk within these gentle hues makes the rug vivid, luminous, and full of shifting light effects.
