This all-silk handwoven Qom rug, woven at 10,000 knots/dm², measures 80 × 120 cm (2'8" × 3'11") with an area of 0.96 m² (10.33 ft²). Produced under the “Abbasi” brand, its medallion-and-corner design is reinterpreted with a modern, unconventional approach. The central medallion emerges on a uniform black ground and, with abstract motifs and bold colors, becomes the focal point of the composition. The black field lends a deep, contemporary character and amplifies the natural luster of silk.
