This all-silk handwoven Qom rug, with an exceptional fineness of ≈ 13,000 knots/dm², belongs among the most finely woven Qom pieces. It measures 123 × 80 cm (4'0" × 2'7") with an area close to 1 m² (≈ 10.76 ft²). With a unique tree design and modern motifs, it stands at the intersection of traditional art and a forward-looking aesthetic. Under the “Naser Mohammadi” brand, the tree pattern is not merely a depiction of a tree but a reflection of life, growth, continuity, and the human bond with nature—branches opening toward the sky and roots penetrating the depths of meaning. At the center of the field appears a bonsai of miniature Japanese trees, a traditional Japanese art of cultivating small-scale trees and plants. The use of silk imparts a silky sheen and poetic softness, as though light dances among the knots. A cream ground provides a calm, balanced base, while a camel-toned border conveys dignity and grandeur. Among the other motifs are espandaneh hanging charms, which, according to ancient belief, were used to ward off the evil eye. This rug is an expression of the evolution of Iranian art, delicately linking tradition to the future and offering a new story at every glance.
