This handwoven Sirjan kilim-rug measures 135 × 190 cm (4'5" × 6'3") with an area of 2.57 m² (27.66 ft²). Crafted in all-wool with an approximate density of 1,800 knots/dm², it reflects careful, orderly weaving. The moharramat (striped) pattern—one of the longstanding layouts in Iranian flatweaves—uses orderly vertical, repeating bands to create a distinctive visual rhythm while allowing varied color combinations. Here, the field is rendered in a multicolored palette, and each vertical stripe presents its own vignette of traditional floral motifs and color pairings. A cream border frames the composition with subtle softness, balancing the liveliness of the multicolor field. Overall, the design preserves authenticity while harmonizing comfortably with contemporary interiors.
