This handwoven Sirjan kilim rug in a kheshti (panel) design measures 100 × 160 cm (3'3" × 5'3") with an area of 1.6 m² (17.22 ft²). The kheshti structure, rhythmic and grid-like, gains a distinctive presence here with a madder-red field. Each interior panel functions as an independent “window,” carrying geometric motifs whose composition conveys order, repetition, and beauty. The simultaneous use of madder red for both field and border reinforces unity and depth, giving the kilim a dignified, stately character. Material: all-wool. Weave density: approx. 1,800 knots/dm².
