This handwoven Sirjan kilim rug, measuring 150 × 200 cm (4'11" × 6'7") with an area of 3 m² (32.29 ft²), is woven in a khesti (panel) design. Its weaving density is ≈ 2,500 knots/dm², and the construction is all-wool. In this piece, a network of orderly, symmetrical squares forms the composition; within each panel, geometric motifs inspired by traditional geometric planning create a refined visual order. The cream field conveys calm and simplicity, while the madder-red border sets an elegant, authentic contrast.
