This Qom handwoven rug, measuring 100 × 150 cm (3'3" × 4'11") with an area of 1.50 m² (16.15 ft²), is an all-silk creation woven at a density of about 10,000 knots/dm², itself a testimony to mastery in weaving. Produced by the Sadeghzadeh brand, it features the medallion-and-corner design, this time reinterpreted with a fresh perspective upon a madder-red field—a rich, majestic color that renders the weave luminous, profound, and opulent. Among the curves of the corners and the central medallion, floral motifs have come to life with captivating delicacy, as though blossoms from an imagined garden have quietly bloomed within the silk. The border in cedar green forms a subtle, neutral combination beside the madder-red ground, producing a unique chromatic balance—a deliberate contrast that is neither harsh nor faint, but rather composed and classical. Its all-silk structure grants the rug brilliance, softness, and flexibility, revealing a refined interplay of light, shadow, and color as the viewing angle shifts. Such quality not only enhances the rug’s visual presence but also elevates its artistic and lasting value.
