This handwoven Qom rug with a medallion-and-corner design measures 120 × 80 cm (3'11" × 2'7") and has an area of 0.96 m² (10.33 ft²). Under the “Taher Mohammadi” brand, it is woven in all-silk at a density of 10,000 knots/dm², a testament to the meticulous craftsmanship of Qom’s master weavers. Rooted in Iranian painting and illumination, the medallion-and-corner scheme is expertly reinterpreted here with blossoming flowers and boteh (paisley) motifs.
