In the city of Qom, a captivating and soul-soothing rug has been created, embodying delicacy, authenticity, and refinement all at once. This all-silk handwoven rug, with a weaving density of approximately 11,500 knots/dm², represents the pinnacle of Qom’s fine weaving art—an artistry achievable only through the mastery of craftsmen such as Master Mardani. Produced under the “Nami” brand, the rug measures 106 × 150 cm (3'6" × 4'11"), with an area of 1.59 m² (17.11 ft²), and is presented in a rectangular format, evoking the vision of paradise gardens. Its vase design, inspired by Qajar-era architecture and motifs, features a blossoming vase at the center surrounded by delicate floral sprays, with birds and butterflies that infuse a sense of freshness, vitality, and abundance. The cream-colored field, imbued with gentle dignity, forms a tranquil backdrop for the magnificent display of colors, while the orange border, with its warm radiance, frames the piece in grandeur. The floral patterns, executed with vivid and masterful colors, each narrate the vision of an imaginative and dreamlike garden woven into silk.
