This handwoven Sirjan kilim, measuring 87 × 127 cm (2'10" × 4'2") with an area of 1.11 m² (11.95 ft²), is woven in a khesti design. Its weaving density is approximately 3,200 knots/dm², indicating the weaver’s skill and precision in executing details. The khesti pattern, inspired by authentic Iranian architecture, imparts an orderly and balanced structure to the kilim. Each panel is composed of geometric symbols arranged in a continuous, coherent manner. A deep madder-red ground and border lend a distinctive grandeur to the piece.
