This antique handwoven rug from Tabriz, in a medallion-and-corner design by the Heidarzadeh brand, measures 344 × 490 cm (11'3" × 16'1") with an area of 16.86 m² (181.48 ft²). A medallion set on a warm madder-red field symbolizes centrality, focus, and harmony in Persian rug art. Throughout the composition, flowers and boteh (paisley) motifs are finely scattered. Peach-toned borders rest like a calming band upon the madder ground, creating a contrast that is both striking and balanced.
