A hand-knotted all-silk rug from Qom, where ancient narratives and the vigor of nature are woven into silk in an all-over design featuring a hunting scene. Sized 110 × 174 cm (3'7" × 5'9") with an area of 1.92 m² (20.67 ft²), it is woven at a fineness equivalent to about 11,400 knots/dm². Crafted under the “Mahdi Sadeghzadeh” brand, its use of pure silk lends a lustrous, supple surface that reveals new facets of color and pattern with every shift of light. The all-over hunting scene presents dynamic moments of mounted riders and the chase of gazelles and deer, set upon a lively green field inspired by spring meadows. A multicolored border frames the composition with balanced, complementary tones that harmonize the center and surround. Beyond floor covering or visual ornament, this all-silk Qom rug stands as a cultural, historical, and artistic treasure—an object for contemplation, admiration, and lasting presence.
