This antique handwoven rug features an all-over design with a pictorial depiction of "Ahmad Shah Qajar", the last king of the Qajar era, with poetic verses woven into the border in praise of the monarch. It is a creation from the heart of traditional workshops, crafted under the hand of the artisan “Karkhaneh Hosseinali Farshchi". At first glance, the striking interplay of warm and cool tones across the field—enclosed by an authentic dark navy border—invites the viewer on a visual journey.
