This handwoven Qom rug measures 130 × 204 cm (4'3" × 6'8") with an area of 2.66 m² (28.63 ft²). It is woven in a medallion-and-corner design. This all-silk piece, produced under the “Moghadam” brand with an approximate density of 11,400 knots/dm², exemplifies the precise artistry and skill of Qom weavers. The classic medallion-and-corner scheme, composed within a balanced and authentic structure, is adorned with fine floral motifs. A deep lac-red ground conveys warmth, grandeur, and vitality to the viewer. The harmony between the ground and the border—both rendered in lac-red—creates a cohesive aesthetic. A lively palette and the natural luster of silk, together with a mix of small and large floral forms, transform the composition into an imagined garden. This all-silk rug is an embodiment of culture and aesthetics, a creation that shines like a gem in any distinguished setting.
