This all-silk handwoven Qom rug measures 128 × 205 cm (4'2" × 6'9") with an area of 2.63 m² (28.31 ft²). It is woven in an all-over design. Produced under the “Rasouli” brand, it has an approximate density of 10,000 knots/dm². The all-over layout, with a narrative approach that blends elements of nature and wildlife, portrays a lively hunting scene from ancient royal grounds: horsemen, archers, and animals move in rhythmic harmony among floral sprays and foliage. These tableaux are not only visually pleasing but also recall power, splendor, and order. A cream field provides a calm, luminous ground for the rug’s dynamic motifs, while a brown border with complementary patterns forms a graceful frame that holds the eye within this visual story.
