This fine “Gol Abrisham” rug by the Haghighi brand, measuring 151 × 225 cm (4'11" × 7'5") with an area of 3.40 m² (36.60 ft²), is the work of master artisans from Isfahan, uniting color, design, and meaning. With an approximate weaving density of 7,300 knots/dm², it showcases admirable fineness and precision. Crafted with silk highlights in the field and a pure silk warp, it carries unmatched subtlety and a clear, natural sheen; with every shift of light, the palette revives and reveals a gently changing, soul-pleasing presence. This distinguished piece bears the reputable Haghighi name, backed by nearly 150 years of experience in Isfahan carpet art and recognized as a pioneer in producing all-silk rugs, silk-highlight pieces, and three-dimensional designs with tile-like motifs. Its dome design—drawing on the sacred geometry of Iranian architecture—radiates outward from a medallion-like center toward the borders, as though gazing from within a turquoise dome into the starry sky of art. Floral motifs throughout act like visual melodies, infusing life and delicacy into the geometric framework. A madder-red field with a serene blue dome pattern is paired with a delicate, peach-toned border, creating a distinctive and pleasing harmony.
