An antique and unique rug by the Amoughli brand, this masterpiece features an all-over design with floral motifs that cover the entire surface with a dazzling display of silken blossoms. This rectangular rug, woven in Mashhad, measures 150 × 220 cm (4'11" × 7'3") with an area of 3.3 m² (35.52 ft²). It is entirely woven with silk warp and silk flowers, a luminous, lightweight, and delicate material that under light reveals a magnificent dance of colors. The deep navy-blue field paired with a madder-red border forms a bold and noble composition, evoking a sense of authenticity and grandeur. The true marvel, however, lies in its extraordinary weaving density of about 20,400 knots/dm², a number found only in collectible masterpieces and museum works. This degree of fineness enables the smallest details and subtle shadings to be rendered with artistic precision, transforming the rug into a living canvas of nature. The all-over design seamlessly covers the entire surface with radiant blossoms, as though nature itself flows endlessly across its warp and weft. The repetition and variation of flowers are such that each glance reveals new details—from the delicacy of a petal to the brilliance of silk threads woven into the design. This antique creation from Mashhad is more than a rug; it is a living testament to the skill, artistry, and patience of past generations, ideal for collectors, refined interiors, and connoisseurs of authenticity.
