This antique handwoven Seneh runner, in an all-over fish motif, measures 200 × 540 cm (6'7" × 17'9") with an area of 10.8 m² (116.25 ft²). The continuous fish pattern—one of Seneh’s most enduring signatures—spreads in orderly harmony across the field, conveying continuity, movement, and geometric balance. Woven in fine wool with a cotton warp, and a density of approximately 2,500 knots/dm², it offers a relatively coarse yet even and well-balanced handle. A deep navy ground, where the fish motifs come to life, creates a warm atmosphere, while the cream border frames the composition with a gentle contrast that underscores the rug’s authenticity.
