This antique handwoven rug from Heris, in a medallion-and-corner design, measures 315 × 422 cm (10'4" × 13'10") with an area of 13.3 m² (143.16 ft²). Executed with a geometric, structured approach, the central medallion with assertive, broken lines sits on a madder-red field, while four angular corners keep the composition in visual balance. Hallmark Heris geometric motifs are dispersed across the field with cohesive order.
